GAH

What you think? Should American "Total War" series have Aryeh Nusbacher as host or as commentator?

I am honored to be the first one to reply this.. I had a similar thread somewhere in this forum.. I think Aryeh is irreplacable, who will have the guts to shake all the Macedonian army in a shaker and play snooker with the Gaullic barbarian columns?

ROFL Must agree with Cebei on this one, Aryeh is a must BTW does anybody know when this series will start?

acording to CGW, this fall we can expect to see a new show called "Total war" though it doesn't say what channel.

Ahh by fall RTW will almost be out by then http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif Hey I just thought of an interesting idea, I think we should have a multiplayer historic battle option where yu replay history on teams or just 1v1 any thoughts?

Sort of an online version of TC, only with people who know what their doing http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-laugh.gif

Sounds good to me http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Gah Me like this poll- every option comes built in with "GAH"

I love Aryeh, but R. Lee Ermey is "Da Man", no exception. But I guess Aryeh (Or should I say, "Eric?" Crazy Brits.) wins out since he is the expert. But, Ermey should CERTAINLY be the host, at least. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

oh my, he is a must I love to hate this guy.

Is that a Canadian accent, it sounds like it is?

We should clone him and send them over there... We really need him over here for the next series of Time Commanders they will start making when they see how much of a hit Total War is in the states http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

He is genuinely awesome isn't he? me and My buddy have spoken about this before and think that he is the only reason I keep watching Time commanders. I loved it at the start but most of the fun with computer games is the interactivity that you personally have in it. Watching people make mistakes that any RTS play stopped making to get anywhere is so frustrating, I watch the program now for the tactical gems that Aryeh comes out with and to witness with a wry smile to next crazy thing he will do with toothpicks...

Keep keep keep keep

The series wouldn't survive without him. Remember how boring TC actually was when he didn't do his thing? It is actually very boring for anyone who hasn't got an interest in RTW or history. The casual viewer would be bored without him.

I think its actually pronounced air-eck or ayre-ck..sort of. Its no Brit name AFAIK.

Emery is the Drill Serg in full metal jacket right? that guy is great Ive seen that character in simpsons, space above and beyond-pilot and the film The frightners and Im sure there is something else too...

Can you imagine him going for it...'you call yourself a general? you couldnt find water if you were dropped in a lake, get the hell off of my set' etc etc

"Way ta through away good cavalry, numb nuts"

He would be perfect.

GAH

R. Lee Ermey also is the host of a show called "Mail Call" on the History Channel. And he was the drill sgt in "Full Metal Jacket".

One show was funny... He pranced around destroying watermelons with a claymore sword and a claymore mine to show the viewer the "difference" between the two.

And who can miss the episodes where he make paintings by shooting cans of paint dangling over empty canvases by ropes using a shotgun and a grease gun?

I would love to see R. Lee Ermey screaming at some people when they mess up. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif Better yet, I would like to see an unedited version where he screams at them as if it were Full Metal Jacket. Now that would be the best show ever. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

As far as I'm concerned , any show with Ermey on it is one of the best shows ever.

I know it's not a Brit name, I'm making fun of how they mangle it. Show me where the "C" is in "Aryeh."

You know it is highly likely that is sounds odd because it is pronounced correctly.

Remember the prime minister of Poland? Lech Walesa, well his name was pronounced 'Valensa' (english phonetics).

Possible, but I still think it is more likely it has simply been "Anglicized."
