I had to put Viking, it really is cool. But i've put in the Gladiator and Lord of the ring music(Rohan charge, Minas Tirith, etc) and it inspires me to kick ass in battle http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

It's all great music, but I'm torn between Catholic music in general and the Viking victory music...ok, the Viking victory music wins because of the crazy humming, but before VI came out the Catholic victory music was the best. The Arab music is good but when you have hordes of archers opening fire nothing matches the action as well as Catholic battle 1.

It was a hard choice between the Arab and the Viking music. The Arab soundtrack is more beautiful but when I want to get in the mood for battle, nothing beats the viking drums.

I personally like the Arab battle music a lot. Gets me into the mood.

BTW, where are the Viking music? maybe I would also like it better if only I knew where it is.

Actually the music in MTW is one of the only game soundtracks I don't get bored with after a few hours of gameplay.

If you have VI installed playing as the Danes or Novgorod the game should give you viking music.

Its a real shame that the Janissary army band is not used in the game. That music would be real nice.
