View Full Version : MTW: VI Proplems
The Poles and Danes, although Catholic
factions, can not launch Crusades because
they do not have access to the Chapter
House building.
This is from read me file, but I see that same goes whit Hungary.
Also I cant build chivalric units .... and halberdiers I dont know can I build Pikemens.
By the way I lost my king in to Italian crusade..now they have 2kings and I dont have even one He was new and didint have heirs so I went in to civil war. Nice.
So I need some advise/guide about things that have been altered from original game... And I did have MTW 1.1 before I installed VI.
Last one I think was bug ,But still interesting one.

I don't get it: did your king join the Italian crusade passing through your lands? I didn't know a king could join a Crusade?
Regarding the problems/availability of some units, I can highly recommend lady frogbeastegg's Total Unit Guide in the Main Hall (click here (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=7;t=13453)), it is really superb and very, very complete.
In her guide, frogbeastegg refers also to a Unit Compare Tool which is created by Clan Berserk. You can download that one here (http://shogun.cafe24.com/medieval/). This tool will give you good information of which units can be built with each faction, and all the prerequisites (like province ownership and buildings). Very nice stuff.

Oh http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/flat.gif
(in fact it happened in real life too, kings joining a Crusade)
But it sounds a bit odd to me that a king joins a foreign crusade in the game.
Does your king return home in case the crusade is successfully completed? Or does the unit of Royal Knights turn into a regular Italian Royal Knights' unit? I'm puzzled.
they had two kings while Crusade was on after that they had king unit for one turn and it just went regular Royal Knight whit royal mark on it.... I dont know did this boost Italyan influence or did they benefit from great steward vice I had... But Im puzzled too whit this.
Damn Why I didint take Screenshots... by the way did something like this happened in Shogun... I regal that someone had 2 kings in that game too. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif
