Where do the ships go?

Hi,

I'm new to MTW but i'm having problems with controling my navy. During gameplay sometimes I can see my ships but then sometimes they completely disappear from the maps, this also includes the enemy ships. Does anyone know whats going and how I can solve this?

It is probably naval battles.

It's happened to me before on MTW: VI

I just assumed that they had been lost in storms or had been attacked by enemy ships.

I don't know if it's related to your problem, but I've had a bug once that made all my armies (including navy) disappear from the map... When I quit MTW and reloaded the campaign, all the units appeared again as normal.

Oh yeh, thats happened to me once.

Have you got the latest version? Patch etc.

It sounds a bit odd to me. I have never had those problem, even with MTW 1.0. Maybe you need to reinstall the game or check for viruses.

b) enemy ships sank it and you spacebared past message
c) hit key that hides your units forgot which one in the lower left corner that toggles units on and off.

Welcome aboard The_Arab. Let us know if the patch solved your problem.

For disappearing ships I'd normally explain away as the Bermuda Triangle, but unfortunately it isn't on the MTW map.
