Harvesting Vives & virtues

What sort of things can I do to get certain virtues? Is there a list floating around somewhere at all? I tried search, but it is so delicate here that I end up with a million search hits that have nothing useful...

Theres a topic somewhere called farming (something) theres a list of some of the V&Vs you can farm.

It only provides a list of v&v's you'll possibly get in the game + its effects. No info on how to farm them though.
