Med Mod....

So I've been playing MTW for a LONG time now and absolutely love it. However it is getting old as any game does. So the solution is the Med Mod, everyone says but I'm not really sure what it is and what it does.

I know it's a modification of the game that someone put together, but I want to know how it effects the game on my system. Does it permanently REPLACE the game I have installed? Does it delete my saved games? is it easy to undo? Are the chances of it bugging out and forcing a reinstall high? I dunno, I've just downloaded upgrades etc for games before and end up not being able to play the game anymore or liking the original version better, and having to reinstall and start over again.

well, it doesn't delete anything

you can still play original game.

problem is, graphics and texts might be slightly messed up.

ie. spearmen being called asturian foot etc.

Lacker, to solve the problem, copy the entire MTW folder and give the copy a name like Med Mod. Then install the Med Mod into Med Mod folder. This will allow you to play the original game without messing up any saves you might have and also allow you to play the Med Mod.
