Upgrading Great Warrior and Natural Leader

I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. For those who already had these virtues, they couldn't be upgraded. For those who didn't have them, they couldn't be obtained.

Trying to upgrade Natural Leader I have had my jedi on the front line and always leading his men to a glorius victory. Every time he either kills or routes the general and kills around 100 people. If that doesn't upgrade Natural Leader, what does?

For Great Warrior I have had a jedi kill hundreds of people in one battle ... nothing. I've made him kill kings, princes and generals ... nothing still. I've had him kill royals with the Great Warrior virtue (Highlander style) ... absolutely nothing. :(

Where am I going wrong? I've heard people say that they had a king who was a Legendary Leader. How did they do this? How can either one of them be upgraded?

I have not seen a general with Legendary Leader or Great Warrior+ sens the 1.1 patch. Back in the "old" days without the patch, it was common to see those better virtues (and vices). Now you have to go natural leder -> fine leder -> great leder -> Legendary Leader, unless u get a hero with the vice/virtue. I sadly don't know how to get those cool vices/virtues.

sadly, I think the ones you mentionned are not farmable, so to speak

It does seem stupid that natural leader can't be farmed, I think. Great Warrior and it's line used to pop up way more in M:TW than in VI. Along with the scared line.

I've gotten my king from natural leader to fine leader once (in v2.1). He was the first to charge the enemy three or four battles in a row.

I'm not exactly sure how I got it though.

I am sure in the little bit of text that explains the V&V in the game say something about leading the way in battle. This would make sense as men respect generals that lead from the front, or they think they are crazy and suicidal http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif

ive only seen great leader with william wallaca mr braveheart him self heh, havent been able to farm them in any way either.
