I Have A Krak Problem

Ok, finished the Krak in about 1170. Great, wonderful, I get the GA goal completion screen and the points get marked off on my GA list. To continue the defense, I then build a barbican on top of the Krak. When I finish it, the points marked on the GA list for the Krak disappear and the points come off my total. If I destroy the barbican, it destroys the whole citadel. I don't have enough time to rebuild it from the ground up, so I'm assuming I am screwed.

Anyone else experienced this or have any solutions?

If rehab doesn't seem to be working, try a twelve step program. Perhaps, Narcotics Annonymous in this case. I do believe, however, the points will still be tallied in your overall score, whenever you hit an "update" date. I didn't notice the problem for another 5 or 6 turns after I had finished the Barbican so autosave does me no good. My earliest save before that was a good 15 turns before completion and given the amount of fighting that was going on, I don't want to reload it that far back. Frankly it's not that big a deal since I'm in 2nd place on the GA list and the 1st place nation (Byzantium) is going downhill real quick. (and Mongols haven't even shown up yet) I doubt the loss of points (if they really did subtract, not 100% sure) will make a difference in the end; I just thought it seemed like a basic problem that someone else might have had before and as such that there might be a solution. I did complete the Krak, so I feel like I can check that off my mental goal list, even if the computer says I haven't.

Never heard of that happening before. If you still have time, you could destroy the citadel and rebuild it with .worksundays.

That kind of thing pisses me off. When conducting a scorched earth policy (hardly ever) and I take a Castle with catapult towers I destroy it and only recieve half of the towers worth. Stupid or what http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif
