Hey guys, check out the Res Romane.

Quote[/b] ] In Rome Total War sieges you'll be able to order your troops to Sap, that is undermine the enemy walls with tunnels designed to collapse. This is a good way of breaking down defences, even if it is relatively slow.

So there we have it, tunneling and mining of walls is going to be in the game http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Sounds like sieges are going to be very fun (I hope the defenders have the ability to counter-mine as well)

We already knew that... I believe it was in the first FAQ. We just wanted to know how they would represent it...

i don't remember reading that in the faq. I remember they said about many sieging options but I don't recall tunneling being mentioned...

Still all well and good

It was obvious it was tunneling the moment they said sapping ;) Just wondering how it will be shown :)
