I have an intresting idea!

Well, i was pretty bored yesterday, so i started thinking http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif . Well then i got an interesting idea, we can see and hear things from the computer, what if we can someday smell things too? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-lost.gif i mean it won't be that hard, scientist had already know the excate number of smell senors we have, and what some common smells are made of(chemicals). All we need is a program in the computer which understands all that, and then in a site onlint posting the smell, they will have an instruction on it, the computer will then confiure it and then we have an box attached to the computer, with the chemicals in it, all it need to get the right combination, combine it, and spray it out http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-gossip.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-gossip.gif

Actually I think something like that is in the works. I vaguely recall hearing something a couple of years ago about a device you hook up to your PC and it can emit scents. However, I don't know how much of a range it has.

The down side: image the fart virus - or worse, skunk virus - hitting an office building. Or how about sending your friend something that triggers the vomit smell - a smell that can trigger some people to vomit too.

Aside from a virtual reality experience, complete with headgear, I think I can live without the smells when I'm at my computer.

Good Lord Do you guys have any idea what a Medieval castle would have smelled like? You would never be able to finish a bloody battle for the putrid smell. Count me out of that one.
