Well I'm a mod of the Outremer from 1109-1291 and I could use some help in provinces and factions really...

Basically I'm planning on having 3 eras, one starting 1109, second some years after the 2nd crusade and when the ayyubid sultanate conquered egypt 1169. The third era starts 1194 a year after Saladins death.

Factions I've been planning are in the first era:
-Fatamid Sultanate
-Kingdom of Jerusalem
-County of Tripoli
-Principality of Antioch
-Kingdom of Lesser Armenia
-County of Edessa
-the Zengid Atabegs
-Seljuks of Iconium
-Emirate of Damascus

Second Era:
-Kingdom of Jerusalem
-County of Tripoli
-Principality of Antioch
-Kingdom of Lesser Armenia
-Seljuks of Iconium
-Ayyubid Sultanate
-Zengid Atabegs

Third Era:
-Kingdom of Cyprus (former Jerusalem)
-County of Tripoli
-Principality of Antioch
-Kingdom of Lesser Armenia
-Seljuks of Iconium
-Ayyubid Sultanate

But I could use some help with what provinces are needed and help with info on these factions etc. (especially the muslim factions)

If someone would also have a potential campaign map I would be very glad...(but I think this is wishful thinking)

One quick advice:

You need 8 factions in each era or MP/custom battles wont work. But I think it will still work for SP if you have less factions..

Hmmmmmm, okay won't be too hard :)

The more near eastern mods, the better.

Although I must check to be sure, IIRC Eyyubi (Ayyubid) dynasty replaced the Zengi Atabegs as well as the Fatimis.

Well yes they more or less annexed the lands of the Zengids after the death of Nuredin...(too lazy to write the realform)..
From the small amount of research I've done it seems that the Zengids were about to crush the rebelling armies of Saladin, but Nuredin died and thus' their plans were undone..
(but of course I might be wrong)
