Clans & Guilds

I was wondering what guilds and clans are out there and what they offer, Im sure other memebers are interested in this as well but I am thinking of joining a clan. Any suggestions? I believe strongly it depends on what you want out of it. I have been a member of Shades for 4+ years.

We formed during the Shogun times, but currently have very few members playing MTW now.

Namely Myself (ShadesWolf)and ShadesFlanders

But we actively play other games, I was playing BF:Vietnam on Friday night and came along an old friend ShadeVild. So basically what I am saying do you want a one game clan or a clan that covers many games.

What are you expecting out of a clan
Do you want to play again/with other clan members

So many questions....

If you want to check out some clans, go to our home page (http://www.totalwar.org/) and look down the right side of the page. I think you will find enough clans to keep you busy. Probably the best way to learn about clans would be to get online and play with people from different clans. Chat with them in the lobby and ask questions. For those you especially enjoyed playing with, go to their website, read about their clan and pay a visit to their forums. It is a good idea to get to know the clan both on and off the battlefield. You'll get a good idea then what a clan can and can't do for you. You might also find a clan that has a similar playing philosophy as you. Or you may come to the conclusion that the clan scene is not for you. It is a very person decision and one that should not be rushed if you decide joining a clan is for you.
