poo! NICE BIG PC Fast cable connection!!! NO Shogun!!
Konnichiwa Swoosh san,
I don't know that brand, but I can make a guess.
Your PC is some towermodel? Some manufactures use plastic lids to cover the parts where screws connect the metal plates.
Those removable fronts are most likely in the front of the tower. There are numerous ways in how they are attached. Be carefull as plastic clamps can easily snap. Consult your manual to get an idea of how it works, screws are either at the front or at the back, is there a cover? Are screws at the bottom? Do you have a sliding toppanel?
Look for buttons, push the sides and pull, slides.
Please don't forget to remove the powerplug.
STW doesn't bother about a proper install (no need to be in the registry, I applaud CA for not doing that). You could insert the harddisk into any computer, zip the entire STW directory and copy it to a removable disk (CD-RW...). Then just insert the CD and upack the zipfile. I've had up to 3 installs of STW on 1 harddisk, all unregistered (but legal) and working.

mentioning the Monsta's pornsta hammer could just make this off topic...or at least banned from the eyes of the younger Taisho.
Konnichiwa Swoosh san,
DirectX 8.0 is on the STW MI CD. In case your system refuses the DX8 setup, it'll have a newer DX version installed. Chance is that you'll find the newer version on the CD that was shipped with your videocard.
I recall that you have Win2000 installed. The DX version supplied only works with 95/98.

When computer freezes, AC is either too low or you live in Saskrastewan. Vanya's PC used to freeze too. I solved that quick and easy by putting my PC into the oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Works like a charm -- thaws it out of its funky freeze real good. If you want to shave a few minutes off of that time, just pre-heat the oven before you plop the PC into it.

I hope you haven't invalidated any kind of garuntee by opening the case...have this entire thread scrubbed before your friend gets hooked on Shogun, oh and kill everyone who contributed to it.
