2-Your generals usually get good characteristics if you keep them close to your king. I usually collect all my governors in king's stack or province and they get less vices.

This forum is great. I have been extremely impressed with the amount of knowledge the people here have. Not just with the game, but also with history and other topics. There are also some great writers. Check out some of the PBM write ups and stories in the throne room and mead hall. (That's probably why I don't post much, as the above really doesn't apply to me.)

On top of that, most people are very considerate and helpful if you have a question.
