language problem

We have to find a way to put an end to this language problem i have read many suggestions but none really sound good and might work but if u have a good idea plz post it here and we will put an end to these ppl thx

Only idea i can think of is completely ban these words.
What i mean be this is make sure none of this words can be type?Not just a few u cant type now?

ive sat in the room for a bit know and seen all the language under the sun being used and i feel really annoyed (all i can see is that these ppl have turned the game into a slanging match) there is only 1 way i can see to stop this and that is to put any1 whos swears on ignore and wait till they want to say sorry in person at a site and if they keep changing name just keep on doing it as from now plz start ingnoring these ppl for ppl that dont know how to ignore #IGNORE

Ignore should be linked to a CD-Key or something, not to a nick.
I'm pretty sure those 10 people on your ignore list are only 1 individual.

Then again, only 1 nick per CD should be allowed.

In case of an 'relative' that wants to 'try' MP using your CD: make the ability to play comp games optionally password protected by the user. So, a brother can use your nick to play friendlies only.

I think the way around this is;
U should have a sir name per CD that u make thus this cant be change.
Ur first name can be anything u like xamples

I personally think the way around this is to actually ignore what you dont want to see-- simple as that. Change the channel.

I see a lot of things in this world that are FAR MORE OFFENSIVE TO ME than a 4 letter word. If I let every offensive political idea, fascist regime, discriminatory thinking/closed-minded bigotry get to me, I would have gone insane long ago.

I find it interesting that people spend their energy being offended by words, when their political leaders are rotten to the core. . .so much corruption, greed, ego/ethnocentrism is accepted in politics, but I cant say "poop" on the Shogun server!?

Change the channel... close the book.... hell, (sorry, heck) plug your ears and close your eyes too.

Its only going to get worse, and the WORDS are the least of our worries.

Just my 2 cents-- though I guess its probably not even worth that these days.

Unfortunately Can m8 lately someone has been sending these offensive and extremely crude remarks in private message to just about all in the room.

Thing is for me, I have none on the ignore list, simply 'cos I like to be able to hear everyone's remarks. You never know what they may slip out http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

I agree with you Dioysus9, I swear just as the average person does but I do not crave the shock value that some must when sending these messages. Your message suggests that if we don't like it don't play the game. I can not accept that just the same as I can not accept using the "C" word in foyer "chat". It shows distinct lack of consideration for others be they female, young or otherwise. As has been pointed out many times, this is just a game. I would suggest those who can not lose with dignity are the ones who should be "changing channels"...........Orda

Im not suggesting anyone should stop playing--god forbid! Its hard enough to find a game these days as it is!

I'm just saying everyone should use the "ignoring skills" that have been honed by years of television commercials, politics, traffic noise, smelly people on the bus, and general life in the 21st century. Everyday we ignore things that are offensive to us.

The problem with these little runts running around saying crude things is exacerbated when you give them attention. Attention is what they are after. You dont have to put them on #ignore, just simply ignore them.

Even this post is probably satisfying some little ^!%(^* out there. Poor attention starved little idiots.
