Tech help question

hey gang

i'm sure this has been asked before but i've probably overlooked the post...
ok after misserably failing to make a little change to medmod, i had to delete then reinstall VI (moral of the story, kids...backup your games http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif ) now after reinstalling the game, it CTD's after the 'medieval total war' logo comes up...i checked the website tech support and they offered nothing useful...think anyone here can help? thanks in advance

Hi basil, did you make sure you uninstalled VI and Medieval before re-installing both? If you just re-installed VI over the top or just VI without Medieval that could be your problem.

In other words make a completly clean slate before reinstalling the lot. Hope you can get it working again http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-smile.gif

yeah man i checked and double checked...the slate is clean but after reinstalling the thing just keeps CTD'ing on me. very aggrivating...heh especially if all i wanna do is just play a quick custom battle before my girlfriend comes over and calls me a nerd for playing 'such stupid army games'... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
