Gooday guys has the idea been looked at yet ?
Ok grab your sticks and use your mind ....
Moving Camera
twist L or R = rotates camera
push forward = scroll forward
pull back = camera rolls b/wards
diagonals = etc etc
Now thumb toggle = zoom in / zoom out
trigger button = L/click
assign key = r/click
I beleive the camera would be easier to control thus making for better on screen battles with less pausing .

No Replies ... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif Hmmm...
Ok , lets look at it this way
http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/idea.gif
A joystick is 3d , 8 way axis , a mouse isn't its cumbersome & slow .
Our interface could be Ohh so much better .
Just the thought of twisting left and right to face , and moving n any direction is turning me into a modder
All i need is a little advice in the right direction or somebody interested enough to work together with .
http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/idea.gif Imagine being able to play the game without having to use the keyboard
So come on you old hands at modding whats your opinions ?
What folder are the mouse control codes in ? Any other info appreciated .
cheers

Don't think its possible dimitros,
Controls and that sort of thing are usually hard coded.

dimitrios the samian, please do not start multiple threads that are about the same topic.
As far as I know you cannot mod the mouse controls. Normally controls are pretty much hardcoded, so if MTW doesn't support joysticks then you might as well forget it. You might want to post a topic at offical forum at totalwar.com and see if at least RTW supports joysticks.
Cheers, Duke John
