Ok lets discuss how to upgrade vices and virtues. I found out how to go from Killer Instinct to Natural Born Killer etc.

Get a general with the killer instinct virtue, and get a provence that is naturally rebellious, like portugal or ireland. Then dont build any watchtowers or spys. Raise taxes all the way. When a rebellion occurs (will be only 1-2 unit) make your general with the virtue move in and kill as many as he can till he is very tired to exhausted. Then move in your other troops and finish off the rest of the enemy. Repeat this over and over and after your general personally kills about 1000 men he will be a natural born killer. keep doing this to get better valour virtue.

Any one else want to share how tos? Captured is another easy one.. Just let your general attack via sea a island provence and then withdraw. You will have to pay for his return. Do this. He will more often then not get the captured virtue.

You can upgrade some buy gaining prisoners, then slaughtering them at the end of the battle.

100 is bloodthirsty, as you move up, you get higher vices... but don't go too far because if you kill a great deal of prisoners, the virtue turns into vice.

If you build saltmines over and over again (6-12 times) in a province, the governor gets a trade virtue (the king allso I think).

Here's a post that contains some info on virtue farming (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=14970). Also, do a search on virtue in topic titles and you're sure to come up with more threads about the how-to.
