Is there a way to define a flag shape against a unit
IE Cavalry would have a different shape to infantry

At the moment all units, exept the General get those square ones, I would like to introduce a differnt one for cavalry, more historically accurate,
any ideas ?

Hey, my Burgundian Militia http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif By the way, in my Osprey book I found that Burgundians mostly had Blue/White as their livery colours.

I have also looked into this and this is sadly not possible. You can't even make the flags larger as the area of the flag image is hard-coded. You can change the flag image within that area though. The usage of the rectangle flag by the general is also hard-coded.

Hi Duke John thanks for the reply.
With the colours/ flags/ shields I have decided to attempt to introduce a little colour into the game.
I have curretnly decided to use the 'ordinances' flag of of Louis de Chalons-Chateauguyon as the main battle flag.
I am also going to use the Pavise Shield images ( Plate G) which is a white background with a red cross. I just need to add the flint and sparks http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
thanks again for the reply m8.
BTW thanks again for the excellent units http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif
