Hmm... Greece mainland is now 4 provinces (As I can tell from the map, southern Greece, Macedonia, Epirus, Thrace) or is the little image deceiving? And Asia Minor seems to have double the number of the MTW map... not bad, not bad.
The map overviewing the provinces looks very basic (I'm talking about the one in the corner) But yes, not bad http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif
That campaign map looks very flat. 2D even http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-inquisitive.gif
The City pic is now my wallpaper http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-toff.gif

Before you brought this up I just skimmed over those pics, its hard to think that this is a game now~ I mean it looks so immense http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif More like a movie or something and that camp map picture really does show you how flexible the game is http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif

Perhaps duking it out? But they could be allies in the process of taking that rebel city.
The army with the cloak-dressed standard bearer is a dacian army, the other scythian, so Kraxis may be right.

About the Greece provinces: Absolutely not. I have examined them from close and I could find: Sparta, Aetolian league, Athens, Achaean League, Macedonia, Thessaly, Epirus and Thracia. Yes, I was just as surprised as you are now The Macedonians seem to hold Macedonia (Duh), Thessaly and the Achaean League, while the Greek cities hold Sparta, Aetolian League, Rhodes, Syracuss (or another city on Sicily), and Pergamum. Epirus, Athens, and Byzantium are rebels. Cool, huh?

btw in the first picture, the roman army has hastati and triarii, where did the principes go?i hope they did'nt remove the unit...i can recall some games that have both principes and hastatus, but not triarii and some instances hastatus and triarii but no principes...its kinda worrying that CA will follow this trend too http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-uhoh.gif
