Yeah, It was from early. I was playing GA though.

The hungarians did that on their own. The turkish killed of the Egyptions pretty early and the byzantines collapsed too. I sent a few crusades in and took byzantine and everywhere south of it (killing off the turkish in the process). The Hoard came in and nabbed Edessa and above but the Hungarians managed to drive them back.

Most of the time I was just skirmishing with rebels (watching my 9*, 15 valour royal knight take out 500-strong armies). I didn't touch any of the central european powers (Although I did take England from the English).

how could you beat the Huns on GA? don't they get a lot of points for conquest that way?

Huns? you mean the GH? weird, GH is gold, but the color there is brownish red. Here's my general rule, when you king reach 45, just do the heir cheat. there will give you enough time, unless, you are unlucky and the king dies in battle or sickness before the heir reach 16.

Heres another hint now with the 56k bug fixed. The death of your king is randomly picked at the beginning of the turn not at the end so if you have the save go back 1 year and more than likely your king won't be dead

Heh, It was pretty close. Something like 290 to 310 in his favour. I would have lost though since the scillians have no homelands in late and one point per five provinces conquered. Better to go out in style like this.

Actually, I had expected my kingdom to collapse a lot earlier. I had more than my fair share of sterile kings in that game.

In the last year, you should have blitzed every faction esp. his for the points.

the loss of coastal ones like croatia would take a decent chuck out of his GA and may give enough to win it for you.

still, it's fairly tough. 20 point deficit in single count is not so easy to overcome.

hell no, I doubt he could have gotten 20??? GA points. Hungarians have a counterattack chance after the human moves too, so it'll be easy for them to take a few provs away.

he needs to have spent about at least 15-20 years planning this last minute blitz and the stars would still have to be properly aligned for him to overcome the Huns.
