My STW WE freeze in game

I use windows XP, and I installed the chinese version of STW warlord edition. After a few rounds, the game will freeze in the big map. I tried to close the program and run again, but it freezes at the same point. Please help me with this, thx a lot

tony, if I recall from your other topic, your system has intel extreme graphics card. What is the RAM on this card? AS I recall, these types of graphics cards don't have the RAM on them to adequately display the campaign map. Is there a model number associated with this graphics card? There may be something you can do to get around this, but I'm not sure.

Almost any $30-$50 (US) graphics card will be better than what you have in your computer. If you can afford it, you should consider upgrading that graphics card.

In my another post, I have stated that I have installed ATI radeon 9800SE (128MB) display card. I used this display card but still got that problem. And the weird thing is it freezes at the exact same time whenever I load that save. When I open a new game to play, after a few rounds, the same problem occurs again. Please help me with this.
