Hi all
Just took the time to register myself in here.
As many of you i love Medieval total war.

Ive been playing STW and MTW a lot.
Usualy on -normal settings-. Becouse then i know its fair on both sides. (at least thats what i think) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif

Well its began to become to easy http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

So if i go over to hard now.. will there be any difference other than that the IA is smarter.

Ive read that on expert they will get a +6 on moral. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-inquisitive.gif
And thats kinduva not real for me http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Would there b any other advantages on the IA other than that they are smarter if i go over to *hard*?

Greetings and welcome to the Org http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

On a higher level, you get less money at the start of a game. You only have 4,000 florins on expert level. AI factions still have the same amount of money at the start.

You are far more likely to have a rebellion if the loyalty in one of your provinces drops below 100%. Provinces held by AI factions are a bit more stable.

AI factions are a bit less freindly towards you and they are more likely to pick a fight with you or choose to ally with your enemies.

Your generals will be more inclined to plot against you, so you really need to keep an eye on those high command/low loyalty generals.

In battle, the AI armies will get a morale bonus, but they will not use more intelligent tactics. The extra morale won't last long when you make the AI units attack uphill while under arrow and javelin fire and then your cavalry crashes into their rear.

Read Frogbeastegg's MTW Guide (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=34;t=17055). It lists the known differences between difficulty settings.
