http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif Hi All,

I have played Total War since the first day of release for STW.

But i have a question. on reading through on fo the guides it mentions the ability to upgrade older units with Armour and weapon upgrades. However it doesn't tell you how to do it.

Can anyone out there shed some light on the process for this.

Thanks

I believe you open the production quene, pick up the unit from the map, and place it in an open slot in the quene. Im not sure though.

as Warlord said - open production panel and open the stack containig the units you want to upgrade - drag and drop. You can only upgrade in provinces which have the reqired buildings to build the units or, speciality units (eg you can t retrain desert archers in Scotland and Highlanders in Tunesia)

hope that helps

also, don't try to drop the stack onto the queue.

that wouldn't work

right click the stack and drag the individual units from the review panel onto the queue.

that was the source of confusion for me for some time. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
