1.84 m, woefully average.
Which is why you act timid, but would unintentionally intimidate people if you leave your country.

For my birthday back in September, my daughter made me a Tom Servo (from Mystery Science Theater 3000) model from scratch. I love the thing - wish it talked too. Anyway, it has been a while since I've had any decent pictures of me, so I set up my studio lights and did a short photo session with me and Tom. Here are a couple of the better shots.

You definately have a punny wit that would compliment the discourse. I always found the films on that show entertaining anyway, perhaps due to the jokes and such though. Insted of MST3K, MSTGregoshi! Or, Gregoshi and Friends!

Not a very good picture of me, but if I had to pick one photo to sum up my time in the Stan, it would be this one, where I am fitting and passing out donated shoes to my posse in downtown Gardez. And most of the girls in the background are wearing dresses I bought locally and gave to them on previous visits.

Well I haven't posted any pics of me in here in years, and I don't want to scare any patrons away considering how I look now, so I figured maybe you all could get a laugh out of some pics of me when I was closer to the age of many Orgahs here. So here are a couple of promo pix from my rockin' 80s:
U4X, 1984 - New Wave, specializing in Missing Persons, Berlin, Divynals, Pretenders, Romeo Void, that kind of thing.
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v139/47Ronin/U4X1984Promo.jpg
REBEL REBEL, 1985 - Club Rock, specializing in Billy Idol, Cars, Duran Duran, Stones, Springsteen, etc., and some originals
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v139/47Ronin/REBELREBEL1985.jpg
These were money-makin' bands that toured the western US club circuit. The agent and expenses ate up most of the money, but we sure had a lot of fun, and babes, and ... well, lets leave it at that.
And yeah, I see the names there. Good luck finding me as there are tons, and I am ... hard to find ;). And they spelled it wrong--you should be able to guess what it should be.

I just bought a refurbished digital camera on ebay (yay!) and took my first picture with it and wanted to share it here to see how it looked. It is a painting I bought some time ago. I would have put it in the artwork thead, but I think it is dead so I will put it here. I also plan on some amateur ghost hunting that the camera will come in handy for. Saturday and Sunday of this week I shall visit some local cemetaries early in the morning. So, pehaps I will have something to post. If not, get ready for some pictures of my cat (perhaps in his litter box!). But I digress, here is the photo:

Great, but no "orbs" - only full or partial body apparitions
Sounds good! I think I will still post orbs though. Some might be scenic, but those won't be regular for I will probably make repeated visits and don't want to post the same pictures over and over again. It also occured to me that one of the cemetaries I was going to visit this weekend will be inaccesible. It is in the woods, forgotten and unkept, so it is quite overtaken by forest growth at the moment. Those pics will have to wait till fall when the growth dies back. The other down the street from my house is old, but maintained, so I shall visit on Saturday.
There is also a house across the street from the window I look out at my PC that I think is haunted. I never see people go in or out and I stare at it all day so I think it is unoccupied at the moment. I have notice strange goings on as of late and what to take some photos. When the oppresive heat that has been constant as of late abates, I will open the window and attempt some evening shots. If blurry, you will have to do without.
Oh, don't forget my cat's haunted litter box! :O
I caught an orb in a shot I took outside my window. The window was closed and the screen was down (AC on) so it isn't a good picture, but the orb is very visible. Also, the haunted yellow house across the street is shown (no phenomenon). I want to look at it more closely before I post it. If any are interested. ;) Yay, ghosties! :D
Ha ha, double post! :P Anyway, I looked and am ready to post. Black circle: orb, red circle: just my neighbor Mr. T.

Under close observation, doesn't the red circle look like a skull? :O Scare me!

@Lemur make sure that your son always wears hearing protection when shooting. I say this because of my personal circumstances, I know first hand how lack of ear protection can wreck someones hearing by the time they are 30-35 due to shooting without wearing protection all the time. Also some of my friends who have been shooting, grew up shooting .22 without any protection and over the years thought nothing about it when shooting larger calibers as they grew older. I tell them that 2 hours of having repeated .45 auto blasts next to their ear doesn't do it any good, but they call me a wimp and say that their ears are always fine once the ringing goes away.
EDIT: I really don't mean to be a nag or anything, it's just depressing when I do see 35 year olds being told that they need hearing aids because they felt like a big man shooting clays on the ranch without any hearing protection.
I took a walk thru massatoilet state park today. I took some pics to share here. The weather was beautiful I must add, just a tad humid.

Dog rock is quite cool actually. It you get up close and listen to the stone, it will tell you the future. Just like the Sphinx!
Well, not really, but it still is quite cool! There are a few other spots there I want to photograph but haven't made the trip yet. :)
Jujubee, I've been wondering for a while now about that Lost Shoe pic: how the heck did that shoe get there? Surely, somebody put it there and purpose, but still, what magic has been keeping that shoe on that exact spot? It's a mystery to me.
Glad you threw the spaghetti fish back, Hosa. It looks scary.

Lost shoe wanders the park looking for it's partner. Tis a tragic tale. It will wander the park and reveal itself to visitors in hopes that they can help it find it's partner for as long as it takes. Till then, it shall forever wander and occasionally reveal itself to those who might be of some help. It saddens me that this is its fate and that it cannot find it's partner, but what can you do. I returned in an attempt to offer it one of my shoes from home, but when I arrived at that spot in the photo, the shoe was gone. :(
I like your photo by the way Andres. :)

Happy Halloween! I took these pictures during "our" (my daughter and her friends') Halloween party Saturday night - the big, rare October snow storm knocked out our power for ten hours (coming back on at 2am), but about 30 people managed to show up anyway. The candle light made for a memorable event. All the exposures ranged from 5-10 seconds - camera mounted on a tripod.

I didn't remember being allowed to take pictures or was that just in the Auschwitz and not in Birkenau.
It made a profound impression on me, especially that entire show case of blond hair with the single pony tail. The whole group was silent the moment we entered until we were back on the bus.
We also watched 'la vita e bella' on the way there.

It was also an interesting experience for us. My group was a Jewish group so Birkenau was much more emotional than Auschwitz I. Also since Auscwitz I was turned into a museum it was less intense than Birkenau, IMO.
Strange that you couldnt take photos. No one told us we couldnt.

I recently went on a photo excursion to Valley Forge with some friends. Aside from Washington's headquarters, there isn't too much else remaining from the time period of the famous encampment. It is more a place of the mind rather than a visual "oh look at that!" But it is still a nice location with some hiking/walking trails, historical markers and some replica soldiers' huts. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Ignore any mess you might notice in the photo, I have put off cleaning for the time being for fear of scaring the cats. They are still adjusting to this new environment and tend to be somewhat skittish, even when I sneeze due to dust, erm, I mean pollen. Yeah, pollen.
How do you like dem pants? A nice $6 Salvation Army find! :D
I've always thought that cats were the cutest pets one could keep. Hope they settle in well with you.
For the pants, you need to get a matching coat. And a fedora and a stick maybe. Then you're good to go. :clown:
Also what are you drinking?
The blazer and the stick I could do, but no fedora! Ha ha!
The cats are settling in quite well actually, thank you. Seems that Sammy in queen of the house and annie and myself are her underlings! Ha ha!
I was drinking iced tea. I bought it online somewhere. I think it is a white tea of some sort. That or an oolong, I don't remember. I took that picture several months ago. :)
Now I just drink plain old Lipton brand loose leaf or liquid multi mixed in a few quarts of water. I was getting too much caffeine! :O I still sport the threads though, soon to be accompanied by a nice second hand blazer! :D
Ahh, ut of course it's iced tea! I knew no one could put so much water in their whiskey!
Whiskey? Blech! When I did drink it I drank it straight. No more. I enjoy iced tea. Seldom hot, unless it is at an asian restaurant or such. :)

Second from right?
We are talking about the Dutch here, so when in doubt pick the tall guy.

He isn't unusually tall over here, I am taller and still not considered tall. Midgets lololol

well, I was being relative: there are three people of similar height, and then we have one dude who is way taller.
but yes, I'm still going with the tall guy: Mark Rutte.
EDIT: for the record, I'm around 6' tall.

The video below is a night (full moon) time lapse photo session I did while on vacation earlier this month in Canada. It is an hour of real time compressed into one minute. My uncle and cousin drift by doing a little midnight fishing at the beginning. Also, look for the wake coming ashore a few seconds after the boat zips by near the end. The video is encoded for 1080p so you can go full screen with it.

I guess after hanging around in this place for 5 years, if anyone was going to track me down, they would have done it already. This picture was just taken yesterday, while I was visiting San Diego. Some bird conservationists near the natural history museum let you hold up a bird if you donated. Could not pass up the opportunity.
EDIT: I guess you have to click on the picture for bigger resolution. Oh well.

hehe - indeed not. These were done with an SLR and a macro lens (resolution of the original pictures is actually higher). Should be noted though that with every halfway decent shot came 10-20 rubbish shots due to the very shallow depth of field...
Gotto spend a large chunk of the day meeting my namesake. Showed my youngest where my name came from as well.
