Hi guys,
Here's the latest news on the project.
I played a test campaign on 4 provinces today. Some things went right, others went wrong, so there's still some work to do.
I mailed The Shogun a couple of days ago. The answer I got were really encouraging. Iwould like to comment on some questions in particular:

A. No the add-on pack release will coincide with an update of patch 1.13 which will enable all versions to play together on-line.
Q.Will the new units be available for online play as well?
A. Yes, but if you don't have the add-on the units will not be available to you. However if you are playing against some one who has the add-on pack you will be able to see and fight thier new unit types.
Q.Will armour and weapons upgrades become available in online play?
A. yes the same rules apply as above!
Q.Can we use some of the mod maps players have made in Clan Wars?

Encouraging, right? The first question was really crucial, because with, say 50 players in the game, there was every chance of getting some players with and some players without the expansion. If they would have been incompatible that would have been end of story.
The fact that the new units are available online will offer some extra options in the future. Nice!!
So, the Armour and Weapons upgrades will be available too? Somethin I need to consider when finalising the tech tree for Clan Wars.
And we can use the maps players have been creating. Cool too. I have already contacted some people to organise this for me. It still means a bit of extra work for me, but I think that's definitely worth it.
