startpos textfiles question

is there some kinda limit, could one add say a fort or what not to ALL provinces...i've been trying but at some points when starting, the period i was working in is not available...
i was wondering if there is a limit,
its really probably just a text error, as i have made them before and fixed...

Dunno about the limits but I got the unavailable period thing before and it was because of a typo (mistyped command).

This is the problem in a nutshel. There isn't some kind of limit (at least I think not, I've edited a lot and never got into trouble), But the slightest typo will cause the campaign to dissapear in the list. It's best to copy-paste all the names. If you named a province two times the campaign won't show up either

Garion's right. I do a lot of editing in the campmap and unitprod folders, and one typo can render an entire document useless. Make sure you do a lot of saving and testing; nothing's more frustrating than making an error and not being able to find it again http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif
