Probably the thing that got me the most excited was hearing that you can select your heir. I wonder what consequences that might have if, say, you select a general that was married into the family instead of your own son... sounds like the premise for a movie starring Russel Crowe...
Greater chance of rebellions perhaps?
Also mentioned was the fact that your expansion is limited by the size of your family. I wonder what steps you can take to rectify this. Marry more generals into your family? Bang your wife some more? Have illigitimate children? Adopt?

Hmm the pigs worry me a bit, they do not only scare elephants apparently but also burn your on troops or enemy troops in the vicinity....hmmm the concept of burning faggots is not too far fetched as it seemed in another thread... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

I liked the part about the generals needed to control cities, too. So it's also somewhat of a political simulator? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

Of course, but I didn't think it would be that in depth. Remember the diplomacy from MTW? Or have we such a short memory? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
