Okay you people.....here's my problem.

Have MTW+VI installed, have installed and played BKB's super early mod without problem, and recently tried to install BKB's super late mod with frustrating results

Heres what happens:

1-I copy the files like the readme says
2-I copy the patches as well
3-Have also tried on later installations, to copy the pre-battle shields from the early mod to the new installations
4-try to start new single player campaign
5-select faction....click continue...and....CTD http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif

My system a PIII 500, 256 Ram, 128Mb Gforce graphics, never ever until this mod (super late), had my machine Crashed to desktop

PLS HELP http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-help.gif

BKB's MOD definately works and it is great.

From what I see, I would suggest you reinstall then patch before copying BKB's files. The easiest way I found to install BKB's files is to rename his MTW directory to the same as your MTW directory. You then drag his renamed directory and overwrite your "original" directory.

When you are finished with installing the original super, don't forget to download and install his "patches" in a simialr manner.

Stick with installing it. The super mod is the best mod out there
