Does anyone have any interesting single player battles they'd like to share, whether they be near wins, losses or glorious massacres (for or against)? I'd love to take a peek on what other people do in their battles and see if there is anything new I can learn from them.

Personally I sometimes get stuck in a rut and try the same thing over and over, just need some visual stimulation to get outside my square I've made :D

I have some great replays but don't know how to let others view them. I'd love to share them with you.

I've got a few goodies. Like a massive double-bridge battle between my (bribed) Mongols and their erstwhile colleagues.

As the Czar says, however, I have no idea how to give them to anyone

Hi guys,

there was a thread about replays (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=17243;hl=replays), but I don't know about how to get your replay up there.

Perhaps Gregoshi can help?

TT

Sounds like everyone has the same problem I have, no place to upload replays to. We always hear stories of people with great battles, for or against, it would be good to see these and experience other peoples strategies and relive these moments. My own replays aren't spectacular but I do have a few good ones be good to share.

I've looked at those in the downloads section but most seem to be multiplayer battles, guess I'd prefer to see more single player ones as that is what I only play.

Could you not get onto my ftp Opeth? I've had it up since I posted. I also enabled creating/renaming directorys so that when people upload their replays they can create a folder with their name, so we know whos replays we're viewing. Please include the mod/game version of the replay too. This is meant to just be for SP replays too, theres enough places to find multiplayer ones.

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-oops.gif Apologies...yes I did, I hit submit before by accident before completing my post properly. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif It looks like it will work well, I'll submit some of my own battles tonight when I get home from work.

Ah, well just tell me if you have any problems. Looking forward to seeing how other people play. I've been putting all my replays from my current Hungarian campaign up, though the only really interesting one is KievRUSVHUNG.vrp, its a bridge battle but one of my woodsmen gets 480 kills, really suprised me when they lasted that long.

I couldn't access the ftp for some reason. Is it still up?

There is an area to upload replays here. Go here (http://www.totalwar.org/Downloads/Uploaders/MTWrecord.php3) to read all about it and begin doing so.

efx: I see where you tried to connect, do you normally need passive mode to use ftps? Because I hadn't set it up for that. Other people had logged on fine, so I think that must have been the problem. But anyway, i'm taking it down since the site already has one, easier to just theirs.

To keep things going I uploaded the battled I talked about earlier for anyone who wants to see it. I checked the logfile, it was 439 not 480 kills for that unit of woodsmen, but i'm still quite happy with them.

Is that a single player battle? I know the .org has tons of mp battles but I don't really play that. I'm actually terrible at the game so I thought I'd learn from some sp replays.

Yes, thats SP. Next one I upload i'll be sure to include SP in the name so it can be told apart from the other replays. Its a replay from a campaign i'm playing using WesW's MedMod3.14 though, so you probably need that installed to view it properly.

I for one really appreciate it.
