I wanted to take the time to thanks those you encouraged me to play on the internet with MTW. I was kindof timid at first, but got over that quickly.

I learned more in 3 days of play on the internet then I ever did against the AI. Now, the AI is no challenge, even on Expert mode when playing custom battles... I am sure it will still require strategy when playing a campaigns.

I lose more then I win when playing online... but thats OK with me.

Also... I just wanted to shout out Hello to all those people who recently became patrons of the ORG.

It's gets better w/ time too. Try to bother vets into to playing w/ you, you learn quickly then. Some get pissed, others are a lot more excepting. Just don't be ashamed of being new, we were all new once.

Losing is okay Geo. I lose nearly all my games when I do manage to find my way online. My terrible generalship goes all the way back to the STW days.

What time do people generally go online? I've been on several times and had no-one available to fight me

What are you playing? STW, MTW, MTW-VI? Make sure that you have the appropriate patch, downloadable from the Org D/L section, without the right patch you may not be able to see any games. There's been between 50 and 200 folks on, afternoon/evening in Europe is usually the most people on.
