The World's Smallest Clashes

Inspired by a recent rebeliion in Ireland during my Danish campaign (which I have now won, yippee http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif ), what's the smallest battle anyone has ever fought and how did you fair? The battle of my own was 2 units of peasants and 3 gallowglass (me) vs 1 unit pavise arbalesters, 2 units of spearmen and 2 units of peasants (rebels). I managed a win but was a little concerned as my general had no stars and couldn't ship in reinforcements as the Egyptians had a ship in the Irish sea so I couldn't move. Any other tales about the mini-ones?

1 HA 2 peasants 3 archers 4 arab infantry and 6 vikings all mercenarys in bavaria the actually beat the HRE emperor they had got cut off there as it had just been a stack of unwanted units i was just basically just autocalcing with them to get rid of them as i couldn't be bothered to disband each one in turn. They won the first battle at heavy cost ended up with the amount I stated it eventally took a full stack commanded by the emperor to get rid of them. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif

I've seen some folks post fantastic battles with one (1 guy, not 1 unit) elite badass general taking on... well, if memory of somebody else's story serves, I think the one guy once took on 1500 units or so in a castle defense. And won.

Hey Drake, did you know that the North Atlantic does not count as deep sea - you can put a barque or longboat there, and still ship stuff into Ireland.

I had a small one a long time ago, early English vs. French. I had one unit of Hobs and one peasants, against some archers and two units of peasants. Victory was mine, but all of the peasants kept routing and regrouping. (both sides)

It was on easy, so my peasants could be rallied, but the decider was that my Hobilars could ensure their peasants got ridden down whereas they couldn't adequately chase mine.

Not really a battle but I had 4 Kat rebels (not units just 4 men total) beisieging my army that they had crushed the year before, (about 100 men left) I figured I was better off in the castle as the losses would be less, so the next year those 4 cats died of attrition and I regained my province. And I did'nt have that province garrisoned with crap units.

taken out of context i imagine that would sound very strange

anyway, my smallest battle was 1 unit of horse archers vs 1 unit of peasants, the peasants were never even able to reach my guys, after i killed like 40 of them they fled the field
