What were your heaviest Jedi Knight exampls in the game? I had:
My german offsrping (odd number of toes, insane, greedy, pride) defeated the Lthunian rebels alone.
Prince Alexios of Byzanz single handedly kill the retinue of my heir, than he killed 54 Spearmen, routing the rest (my Kings retinue was shooting at him the entire time) then he jumped at my king, cutting him into little pieces, routing the rest of my army.
And he was alone in all 3 combats.....
In an other example my king died while trying to cath a routing italian Urban Militia. (Bohemond de Tancredville).
I also got some kind of Achilles like Russian guy (secret pride, fearless, Mighty warrior and secret bloodlust) who got shot by a Bombard (the first time that I see this things hitting anything) which was actually my Bombard and aimed at some English longbows that were shooting at him.... As i replayed the battle I noticed that this special bombard hat a pretty good hit at my kings unit too, but fortunately missed him. it never hit a single English warrior.
I assasinated every single member of the Bombuard crew indivually. Which got my a 6 Star assasin, who then died in taking out a level 0 emmissarry. (94% chance...).
This game just went wrong.

My worst experience was in VI. I had just crushed a small viking army and was attempting to take out their king. He marched through several hundred of my warriors, cutting down many of them, right to the edge of the map. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif
yeah, the royal offspring are usually a little bit to strong when it comes to fighting mere mortals
Byz katank frieks at valour 30 destroying 2000 strong not at all bad eggy armies:furious3:

I've had a viking king go though about 2/3 units of saxon huscarles in a fort once
I had a Valour of something like 45 in a JHI of 2. I used them as flankers alot or against horses so I preserve as many men as possible while gaining a huge amount of valour. It sucessfully crushed an entire army of german Gothic Knights and other crusader units on a bridge battle without loosing either two of the men. Hows that for jedi?

Lots of alcohol for me, steroids for my men. Either that, or I just get them to brawl a lot.

My viking king has decimated entire armies just by his unit alone. When I tried to kill him to advance my heirs along, he kept beating all the armies, it was rediculous, and then I found out that he regenerates his men for free, It was nuts probably the easiest campaign ever, I barely had to spend any money.... It was on expert too... weird how he regenerates his units, now I don't feal so cheated when i can't retrain him....

These Jedi aren't as unlikely as you might think (OK, some of them are). Remember the story of Stamford Bridge?
A lone Viking hero blocked the Bridge against the whole of Harald's army for hours, enabling the rest of the Norse army to form up in battle array. Our boys still kicked their butts back to the land of Fjords etc, but hey, it was a heroic effort.
No-one knows who he was, but the story is accepted because chroniclers of both sides agree that it happened.
One story of how he was removed was that someone went under the bridge in a coracle and stabbed him in the goolies with a spear. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-stunned.gif Ouch That kind of injury will stop anyones heroics. I wouldn't even fancy being the one doing the stabbing - which ever way you look at it, you're going to get a face full of blood and human waste and entrails. Not a good look.
I know this is an incredible story - I can't see why they didn't just shoot him or something (though not many archers in English armies of the time)
Holding a bridge is one thing though - facing down 300 men when they surround you is possibly a little too difficult for the hardest of hard men.

That is incorrect. It wasn't for hours. Only minutes...
I did a little modding recently with the new 'add a hero' tool. I gave the Almohads a new general who, i thought, would help them secure the Iberian as their own. when he did appear he was granted a title, and wound't you know it, his name was Amir Monk. Not exacty very subtle i know, but at least i could keep track of him that way. Anyhow in his first battle he charged into Castile and drove the Spaniards out.
Unfortunately for him, the next turn civil war ignited and His entire army declared their allegience to the Rebel Caliph. Being the only loyal Almohad general in Spain, he refused to run and drew his lines on the side of a great hill. The battle opened up with what must have been 1300 rebels against the lone cavalry commander, and what followed was unspeakable. I'm not entirely sure how he did it, but Amir Monk utterly decimated each and every unit sent against him. Arab infantry, Saharan cavalry, Nubian spear men, even the dreaded AUM were no match. by the time this battle ended, my MTW counterpart had 20 valor and only 2 others with him that survived. The ground was painted scarlet that day as 1100 rebels died. My only regret is that i forgot to take a screenshot http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

Well, I've never had one real unit as a Jedi, But I have had groups of Jedis. Four Billman, with V11 and Lv.4 Weapons, and LV.4 Armour can do alot of damage, they killed like 500 men in total, mostly spearman, Cav, and men at arms. Heh heh heh. But all good things come to an end. They don't like deserts with all that armour on... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-oops.gif

I don't really know the valour of them ^^;;;. This was during my first campgien... I really forgot... But It was hillarous watching those two guys fend off hordes of germans. It was a bridge battle, so no hope of flanking =P.
I had a full unit of V14 halbs once.
I build them up by combining repeatedly veterans from mongol invasions of khazar.
he butchered more than 1k of mongols int he end when I went on the offenseive and invaded kahzar.
he was unstoppable.
he diced up MHC like butter even while utterly exhausted.
I marched across the map and parked him on the map edge where he just butchered the incoming mongols with aid of some high valor pav arbs and lesser halbs.

I once had a man kill over a thousand in one battle http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif a man among men. I saved almost all of his videos. They don't make men like that anymore http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
do any of you have replays of those? if so, that'd be awesome.

There's a link to a good battle. You may have to right click and Save Target As. This was a nine star general with only good VnV's (through saving only when good stuff happens of course http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif Nevertheless, a beautiful example of a jedi in action).

i had the enemie's king devoid of his retinue, all having been killed, rout some 300 men of mine causing my whole army to flee off the map
i also had a king i was trying to kill off by sending in to battle alone (he had 0 acumen and 1 command star) he mannaged to route with his unit some 400 enemy troops ( spearmen, peasants, urban militia and the like) before being overwhelmed and fleeing to safety ( i repeated the process untill he died, i had unfortunately not noticed he had no heirs, so the crown passed to his brother, with 0 command stars as well as 0 acumen)

No he was not JHI, nor any other uber unit type. He was the leader of 65 other Ghulam Cavalrymen, the first and only Famous warrior i have ever commanded.
Brave Amir Monk: born in 1108, none know from whence he came, he himself would only say he came from the Sahara, where no others dared to go. Recruited into the Almohad Caliph's service in 1128. Fought in the Castilian War 1132-1136, partook in the Leon conquest in 1142, led the Invasion of Valencia in 1145, smashed the forces of Aragon in the North Iberian War of 1153, even defended the growing power of the Almohads against the forces of the English in 1156 at the Battle of Barcelona...finally dies in 1159 when French invade Valencia from the sea and break through his lines.

Man, you guys have had some impressive jedis. I haven't had anything close to that, best I usually get to is 10 valour for units. I did have something interesting in a recent campaign though. I had two younger brothers both born with Secret Pride/Killer Instinct giving them +5 valour on top of the +1 valour from province bonus. I dubbed them the Kingslayers and sent them out with my good generals to eliminate enemy generals. They wiped out quite a few, including the Danish(Or Swedish) king himself before eventually dieing.
Only other thing besides for that I can remember is a recent bridge battle where a unit of woodsmen killed 439 troops, and another couple of units had 300+ kills each. Thats not really impressive though since they just chopped through clumped Peshti/Spearmen on a bridge.

click behind unit trick no longer worked.

Yeah, but I find the swiping much more realistic, if its not a pike, spear or polearm, the first rank and some of the second would get creamed.
true, it was good fun and accurate although game balance would prohibit it.
