Hello,

I'd like to post this elsewhere but registration procedures, etc, etc. Ah well good reasons I'm sure.

O.k. SHOGUN: It's an oldie but still a goodie IMHO and I'm using it to cut my teeth in modding with some sucess. I adjusted the muskets to reflect a bayoneted flint lock weapon, a shot about every 15-16 seconds. With this rate of fire, two ranks suddenly becomes a VERY valid fireing system. When used in sqauds of three, the firing becomes very like 18th century tactical doctrine, which is what I'm aiming for.

But here's the thing. The AI while making use of the bayonet (not always so dumb, that AI), it still does not use the faster musket to maximum efficiency by deploying in two ranks. I've noted that Korean Javlines however, DO deploy in two ranks to fight at range.

Here's the question, is there a way to make the musket AI deploy in two ranks?

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif Hi Viscount. Yikes You ask a STW modding question. I'm going to ship this topic off to the Dungeon -> Alchemist lab forum right away where you will most likely get your answer. You will be able to reply to the topic in the forum.
