stupid newb question

the game for years but when i got to map editor it wont let me make buildings http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif i have tried what buttons do you press i want to make a giant castle and have people charge me with an over whelming force envetually will lose but take out thousands of them http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif

There shoudl be a button you press for help which tells you, but i believe its
+ and - to sort through buildings.
