I asked a long time ago how to make custom GA goals and was told that it is hard coded and cannot be done. However, I am currently playing Medmod and I have noticed a TON of new GA goals. How were these added and is there any way to do so myself?

I think only Homelands are moddable.

Besides, are you sure these aren't in vanilla?

perhaps Wes would be better at answering this question

Definitely more than just Homelands. I've seen the following (vague recollection):

Spain:
Catalan Civilization - 30 buildings or upgrades in each up the following provinces (Leon, Castile, etc.)

Russia:
Teuton Invasion - Push back against the German invaders and take (some Germanic province)

Sicily:
Trade Empire - Gain more trade income than any other nation.

There are many more, those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Incidentally, any time I click on the last two nations in line in the GA menu, it crashes the game. That's not a big deal though, I'm just curious how these GA goals got inserted. Wes definitely did it.

I think the Catalan Civilization one is similar to the Iberian civ one.

I think all of them were copies of something tha was already in place.

Italians had a trade GA too and Polish had the defy Teutons in vanilla VI.

I woudl be interested to see how Wes did it too.

I want a negative conquest point after a while.

Ah. Maybe these are just vanilla GA goals that I've simply never noticed before. That would explain it. I can't believe I haven't played a vanilla Spain GA game before, but it's more likely that my memory is at fault.

well, I think the Iberian civ one is the most buildings in Iberia regardless of who holds it, right?

I think that's for both Spanish and Almos.

Still, I think Sicilians don't get a trade monopoly GA although I could be wrong and the Russians don't get defy Teuton which is Polish but instead gets survive the mongols and greatest city musocvy GAs.

so maybe Wes changed the factions getting the GAs?

oh, I know why the Sicilians get trade monopoly as they are subbing in for the Genoese Confederacy in late IIRC.

the former novgorod also are now the swedish and the kiev rus etc. so the game may be mixing up Polish and Russians.
