WHAT HAVE I DONE

i wanted to do a campaing as the rebels in early so i did. i started as the almohads and i wanted a challnege so i put the money cheat in then the rebel one and it took like 50 years and now almos own all of spain and most of africa my people cant stand up to them so we were kicked out of spain with the spainsh but now they are getting mass rebellions and since i am the rebels its pay back but i know it wont be enough so what can i do to kill the almo hordes i gave em 1,000,000,00 florins so i had to put that cheat in too now and the rebels dont get the best units so any advice

my clans men are ocupied killing off the english right now

my vikings would have to go agianst the HRE

umm.... I can't help you, you're using cheats so how are you losing?

ok, massed archers against them should work.

rush them with hordes or vikings and clansmen, particularly use forest cover.

if AUMs and ghulam BG prsent a problem, then pin with slav warriors and use slav javs to hit them from the rear with javelins.

rebel game is tough enough with people bribing you so why money cheat?

money cheat is pretty stupid anyhow.

AUMs are the only significant problem and javs can solve them.

be sure to put the slav warriors on hold so they don't break all that fast.

desert archers can be run down using slav warriors, clansmen, or cav if you have any.

the other almo units aren't that tough.

good luck. just don't get bribed.

it's just that the AI can't manage economy.

otherwise, with North Africa and most of Iberia like theya re supposed to and correct build order, the Almos shoudl have so much cash that they can't spend it all anyhow.

just that it may have been stupid idea in the first place.

I woudl also like to hear what exactly is the composition of the almo horde he is so scared of so we can advise him as to how best beat the almos horde.

ok this is what i did i started as the almos but i planned to be the rebels i wanted it to be extra fun so before i hit .conan. to be rebel i did .deadringer. while i was still the almos and now they are dominating every one i thought it would be hard but not like this

do you have difficulty countering 16 AUM armies or what?

is this just a bitch and moan thread or do you actually need help on a particular situation?

ok they have alot of ghulams and aum and they are cutting down my people but i they took allmy land by them now so i guess i will have toi wait to fight em their aum are better than my fmaa and its early period hard my first hard i always used to do normal and i got another question do they get them sarcean inf i will be dead if they do

ok. are the ghulams ghulam cav or ghulam BGs?

their AUMs are deadly but either way use slav warriors or spears to hold them and use slav javs to kill those armored beasts.

massed archers also help

just make sure your lines don't rout.

spam slavic troops as they are very cost effective.

place your general right behind the line for some morale boost and hope that the line holds for long enough for slav javs to flank and throw and then charge.

FMAA can also flank.

as for saracen inf, almos don't get em onyl the eggy and turks do.

beware of muwahids though as they are quite tough, have irresistible charge and look deceptively like peasants.

hard isn't bad they don't get a crazy +4 morale although nwo they do get +15% combat bonus which is about 38% of a valor upgrade.

use hold hold for your slav warriors or spears so they last longer for the others to flank/rear attack and destroy them.

Wait them out. Most computers that get 1 million florins run out of money before long. Just wait. You are the rebels so you can't lose.

might as well just start using mercs and ships to do rear-territory port attacks on them.

demon of light is quite right, the AI never knows how to use money.

they would likely garrison with ghulam BGs if they have the cash.

be lean and mean and cost effective with your men and crank taxes through the roof cause you always have 100 loyalty.

use counter units well and you can hold them off and eventually gain at their expense.
