I finally finished one of my game. I conquered England in 943 with the IRish on hard. Although the last 40 years the outcome was obvious. Once I won a couple of main battles against the Saxons it was all but over. One slight scare when the Mercians reamerged and cause a little havoc for a few years. It was fun. Now I finally will give the MTW a good chance. I do love winning as the Irish (my heritage).

You could download Kekvit mod and conquer the Medieval map with the irish.

What's do these Mods do...change the game entirely. I want to try these mods but I don't want to mess up the original game.

If you've got space on your hard drive then just copy the medieval folder. You can have as many copies as you want and install a mod into each of them.

Mods range from those that just tweak the normal campaign to those that replace everything in the game.

Kekvit mod adds a few factions and modifies a few things.

I envy you Josephus. I've finished a handfull of STW/MI campaigns, but never a MTW/VI campaign. I've never seen a compass or gunpowder. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif
