Okay, so I got really busy for a year or two...but things have quieted down and I can't wait for RTW to be released.

I once again have loads of server space with my current business, so either the assembly can reopen as it won't cost anything now and I could use it for space to design what you all would like to see to compliment The Org. I can deploy all kinds of tools and databases, plus I can make the community some desktop applications, whatever is needed. Just have to give me some ideas what you all would want or need. I've got the time...just keep in mind I'd like some people to volunteer for upkeep stuff...which is why making stuff just for the Org Staff to manage would be nice.

Have I mentioned I'm excited about RTW being realeased this fall? hehe http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif

And another thing, where are the Shades http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cheers.gif I want to get some MTW played in the meantime.

Aww, don't listen to those old grannies, they complain about everything and are most unfortunate when they have nothing to complain about

Good to see some of the old veterans still alive and kicking

As for the old gang, ShadesWolf is still around, and I believe he is always up for a good fight

Well that really does seem to be the ongoing struggle everywhere between gamers/enthusiasts and the companies that make these games.

I've found a number of games where the integrity to history and playability is totally thrown away by a completely unstable MP environment (insert any game from strategy first here).

If CA can put out a game that is, in THE VERY LEAST, a pale representation of what we want historically and they SUCCEED in creating very stable MP environment, then we are ahead I think.

I say this only because of the community we have here, the clans, the faithful gamers, and even the weekend warriors. We have before shaped the games to fit our desires and our playability standards, whether by limiting army choices in league or tournaments, or by MODS like the one just put out by CBR. We do maintain the ability to shape our experience a great deal.

Now having said that, it would be great if we didn't have spend so much time doing this to get what we wanted when we payed X amount of dollars in the first place...but perhaps the community is stronger for it. If CA is to be the community's Philistine, then so be it...at least we have a good capacity.

Of course The Org must be given many thumbs up http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif for providing a central flag around which to rally and engage in these endeavors.

I agree. Let's hope we are up to the task. It will be a daunting prospect to revamp the game... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-lost.gif
