The white cursor

I've got a problem where, after installing certain mods, I will just get a white pointy-thingy (is it a cursor?) instead of the proper thing. I'm using BkB super mod and installed chaos: total war on top of it. I know I shouldn't have, but it worked before (I think). Now I just have a little white dot for a cursor, even after removing it and reinstalling VI. Any help would be appreciated.

The VI-disc doesn't have the cursor image, so re-installing the VI files doesn't solve your problem.

The simplest solution would be to re-install the entire game. The hard solution would be to find out what image is the cursor and try to find the original.

Unless you know what you are doing, you really shouldn't place multiple mods in a single installation.

For some reason the entire pacs folder had gone, causing the error. And the mouse pointer is named pointer.bif... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
