G4/TechTv, Pulse (one of their shows) did a pretty nice review/preview of the game last night. rather than just some screenshots, they had some nice long videos of the game play and some interviews with michael dePlater and others at CA.

all i can say is, WOW this thing looks amazing the scope is amazing. you see one battle and it's like hoards of men running across the field of battle. another trailer is of a square formation of legions being attacked by hoards of others. then there's the ransacking of the castle video, with troops scaling the walls in great numbers.

i think a number of these were older trailers cause i seemed to recognize some of these as being where some of the earlier screenshots that were released came from.

and this may not be fair, because again, these trailers may be a bit old and there may be new stuff done already, but the one thing that i didnt like was that the armies looked a lot like clone armies.

but all in all, this thing looked impressive.

Dont you have access to the latest trailers?

Clone armies in what way?

the units for example Legionares all looking the same? well unless you are sponsored by nasa and have a super computer dont expect that to change in near future.

If you mean the men are synchronised as in all walking at the same time then that has been fixed and units now walk more realisticly ie.. some guys have their left foot on the ground while running and others have their left foot on the ground etc...

RisingSun could you please shut up?

Keep your ranting in the threads that is about it. I can understand you are disappointed but you need not burden us with it.
It really seems you only want to complain right now. Anything could come forth and you would be there yapping something angry. We get the point, you are dissatisfied.

Let me ask you, does it make you happy to go about like this? I don't think so, it only makes you even more angry.

So let us hear about this preview in peace.

I keep repeating it because for some ridiculous naive reason, I continue thinking, "maybe they you know... Just didn't see it... Or something..." or "Maybe they don't get how unsatisfied we (the historical accuracy community) are."

I think "maybe if we say it one more time..."

I have some kind of innocent faith that won't go away.

Well the way you do it doesn't sound like that. It just sounds like you are personally insulted and want to get back at them at any chance given to you.

You shouldn't use illdisguised sarcasm with a http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif. It just makes you look like a brat.
