I'm looking on books that are about Hannibal and Alexander. Not books on just about their victories in battle but really more ofa biography, about how they thought, their characters, their principles.
I would be really appreciative if you guys could tell me where I can get them. I checked my school library but my library dosent those kind of books. Just a whole bunch of biography and chemistry stuff. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif

Amazon.com. Type in Hannibal and watch five hundred titles appear before your very eyes. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif

The Monastery will yield much more information to your question and it won't quickly dissappear...off it goes.

A Civil War general by the name of Theodore Arault Dodge wrote a spectacular book about each of the great leaders you just mentioned. They mostly pertain to their military exploits but, the beginning of each book deals with the early life of each of the generals and their backgrounds. I highly recommend both of these books to you. Spectacular reads if you are into Military History.. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif
