hello


i have a problem about unit modding..i modded abyssinian guard as turkish axemen into medmod..game launches succesfull.everything is ok..i put them into training queue and i hit enter for end turn..after end year,a ballista crew (with 75 men)producing instead of AGuards?


i never be faced like this situation..i have mod a lot of new units before,but i never be faced like this s***


what do you think?how can this be?

the reason i didn't post is cause i didn't know.

But here's an idea. When u other click on the unit, does the description for ballista crew appear? If so, u might have overwritten the review pannel pic for balista crew with the AGuard one by accident.

As u said, its a rare problem so thats why people don't answer.

I guess u might just have to re-do the modding.

no,description is for Aby..( my unit's description)..


i tried mod again but this time they producing as 75 men catapult??

and i see that peasant units become as mangonels..another problem..

i think i will re-do modding ..


however,i am waiting for answers while i trying.

Maybe it's because you've crossed the 256 unit limit and the game is wrapping to the first unit again? That's my only idea.

I remember that it was once mentioned in the MedMod thread that 256 units were put in and that more was not possible because the limit was reached.
So that could be a very good explanation indeed. If so, then you can only solve it by deleting another unit. Please let us know if this works.

hmmm..there is 259 units in MM_Unit_prod file..i will try delete 4 units and re-do modding..i think this will solve the problem..i will give news if works..
