what is this the 4th day??? I think it is time for me to look for a new community. One that actually cares about the players. If the server isnt up soon, I will just see you guys in MTW.

I sent several emails to CA and EA and no one at all replied. This makes me mad that after all of our long hours spent battling they jsut cut us off.....I need a fix man...i'll do anything man...just 1 battle...come on man.

Lol sorry but - how can they care if MI server never goes beyond 50 peeps? Of course they don't! Money...Money..

I WOULDN'T be suprised if they shut the server forever due to lack of peeps

As history have shown, they dont care at all about the communities wellbeing. but history shows also that every time the server goes down it goes online as well...

Don't know if this will be any use to you but; if you did buy Shogun:TW & the MI xp seperate you will need to install the original again, preferably in a new directory so you can play either version.
At least I do. Something of a pain I think.

Unbelievable that this can happen, perhaps its time that the server hosting was relinquished to the public domain.

Hello surely shogun can be played by ip.If it can then simply use icq to organise games. Sudden Striek has no dedicated server majority use icq.Worth a go I have a contact list of 60 players its a good alturnative.

The trick is that to EA, who maintain the servers, Total War is now a liability. Does EA care if it gives MTW a bad rap? Of course not, since it is being published by Activision and EA will make zilch on it.

Perhaps CA can do something, but their contracts with EA may be restricting them from setting up a private server or releasing the hosting to private domain...

Out of curiousity...is it just MI that is down or is old STW down too?

Very sad. Only been playing for about 2 1/2 weeks. Feel like a step-child forced to fend for itself. Please CyberGod put STW back up so I can sacrifice many samaurai to you. I will give you many heads as penance.

IF EA ever did give a damn about the server, then they don't now. I wouldn't be surprised if the server was down permanent, and whatever happens, come MTW's realease, it probably will be put to sleep for good.

EA should stick to sports. And MOHAA. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif Which is a point, why can't we have a MOHAA standard server, oh wait. MONEY. Robbing thieving tight B******s.

Remember, Activision are also robbing thieving tight B******s and if the MTW server is just like this one, they'll do just the same.

What is for certain, EA have all but given up on this game.
