I am starting a small Tournament- Adopt-a-Newbie

8 experienced players train 8 newbys,

Simple 1v1 knockout after 1 months training

Adopt-a-newbie competition

This will be short and sweet.

8 Experienced players and 8 new players will pair up. To identify the pair the experienced player posts a 1v1 game between the experienced player and the proposed Newby, so that the refs can adequately confirm that the new player is not undercover and a new player. The New player will confirm his acceptance by posting in this thread with same name as forum name in 1v1. Judges may request 1v1 with new player at a designated time.

Trainers can start as soon as they post the 1v1 in the upload section. Uploads should be clearly marked for my attention. The 8 pairs have 1 month for trainingThe month starts from the acceptance of the 1v1 game by the Judges. (.At the present time thats urs truly. A Judge post remains open.. Monsta pls)


At the end of the month we will play a simple random knockout 1v1 between the New players. If the trainers start on a staggered basis the 1st round will be in order of registration. Clearly there is some advantage in signing up early. Winner gets a nice badge, winning trainer also gets nice badge.

Late

Well I got 1 out of 3 criteria: I could still a newbie by virtue of number 2.

If I ever beat any of you before, well, excuse me and sorry to say, you are beaten by a newbie and by definition, you are a noob.

well, I havent played the game for almost 6 months now, so I could be a newbie.

1. I've been in a clan (damn)
2. Well, I have back in the days
3. I have had the game long, though never really played it much.

So I am sort of a newb, I certainly cant beat anyone now, is that ok?

If not then I offer myself as trainer to a newb, someone wants to team up?
