are any of the battle analyzers working ?

i've tried all 4 (i think) battle analyzers listed on the Org's home page. Either there is something wrong with them, or with my battle logs, because none of them worked ( i browsed to select the file, clicked submit, and nothing happened).
am i missing annything obvious here ?

heck, what else is there to do besides click on browse, select the stinking file, click on open, and then click on analyze...is there more to it ?

ok, tell me exactly where you are going to get the logfiles. is it under VI/Logfiles? cause it worked for me like i said.

They work for me for custom battles, but not anything else (ie campaigns, historical battles/campaigns, quick battles). Are they specifically for VI? I'm still on 1.1. It seems odd that they only work for my custom battles though http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif .

they are for VI.
sure enough, VI/Logfiles. All the logfiles are there.
Schrodie's Cat, you may be right. Mine are all either campaign or quick battles...
I'll try a custom battle tomorrow and see if that works. But it sounds weird that they should only work for custom, eh ?

i think i may have found your problem *maybe* as far a i know, these are for MP battles.

That would probably be it then. I'd assumed that when people were talking about looking at the logfiles they meant using the battle analyser, so it was kind of annoying that I couldn't get them to work. Good to know they can be opened as text files http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/idea.gif .
