Now all the marketing and selling point of RTW was and is that this title is an RTS game...
HOWEVER the reality IMHO is that this game is TBS Turn Based Strategy and RTT Real Time Tactical...
What im wondering is how this game will sell to the CASUAL gamers who expect from an RTS peasant building making 30 top units and click FAST.... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-dizzy2.gif
And also how they the CASUAL gamers will handle the TURN base side the morale the tactics and the whole "no building civs online(*cough*NO MP CAMPAIGN*cough*)...

They won't but they think they will do it by screwing over the diehard fans and making up units.

Please don't bring this into this thread... For god sakes, please don't.

The main selling point is, well, it will be a like LOTR. Movies like Troy and LOTR show epic battles of thousands of troops. This is mirrored in RTW. The main reason that MTW or STW didn't sell as well was because of the graphics, which put off alot of gemers. These new graphics will probably rake in alot of people as RTS fans usually judge a game by reviews and graphics, and gameplay after they buy it.
