Hello,
I spent most of this last weekend making a detailed map of Europe for MTW http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-book2.gif . It includes the borders of all regions and seas, their resources (trade items, mines), agriculture income, location of ports and bridges and unit valor bonuses and unique units for every province. It was inspired by the map by bushface in the MTW_Info_Pack and based on information from Yakobu's region guide (nice guide Yakobu http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif ).

I just uploaded it to the org (file name is afrit_MTW_province_Map_6_19_04.zip). I think you can access it from the uploads section until it makes it into the downloads

You can see a low-res version on my home page:

http://home.earthlink.net/~tonymakhlouf/

The high res file is 12 MB uncompressed, 1.5 MB zipped. It should print legibly on one A4 paper at 600dpi (use photoshop for best results).
If anyone wants it by email, I'll send it to them.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the reply.
Which medieval map of Europe are you referring to? I have seen several different ones in historical atlases and MTW's is fairly accurate for a game.

The purpose of the map I made was to function as a strategy aide while playing the game. It is obviously not historically accurate.

great work, afrit
btw, if interested, there's a typo in Muscovy: you said salv instead of slav (javelinmen or something).
But it's really nice ;)

Thanks for pointing that out http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif
It also brought to my attention that Volga-BUlgaria is missing the economy numbers . I'll wait for some more errors to surface before I upload a corrected version.
