Bravery Virtue...

i notice the bravery/fear virtue will pop up randomly on a few governor generals and progress to brave beyond belief if u just leave them there, in one recent experimental campaign, 2 of these did this, and only things that happened regarding them, are that they fought off one invasion, i think i might have even auto resolved both , wasnt paying as much attention for the virtue as it popped up randomly,
still dont know if triggering it is something that can be done in battle or if u can auto resolve in the right instance and get it???

not sure about that. But I had a zero star general sitting in a province behind my front line, and he acquired the famously brace V&V, from what I can see, it's totally random.

For some reason, I've been seeing that virtue popping up amongst some completely inactive woodsmen I've got sitting around - I'd prefer my Katapraktoi or Alans to receive it, but hey. Perhaps it's a peasant thing - he's willing to fight a proffesional soldier - must be brave

Hahahaha, I think it's the wrestling bears thing. I noticed it too. I had a general in Wessex and I controlled all of France and Denmark, so no nearby enemies, and he became famously brave in a matter of a few years with no combat or threat of combat.

I don't know i don't really pay attention to the vices and virtues thing. But i did remember a peasant unit i was using to raise loyalty of a province became brave somehow.

sometimes when a unit is routing and bieng attacked it attacks back, and one time i got as a result of that thing a good runner and a good last stand at the same turn :)
