Can't start the game

Just registered, so I can't post in tech. forum, sry.

I have installed MTW+VI, start the game, a pinkish screen in top left corner opens, then greenish activision logon, 1 second of music and then it just closes....

Same happened with only MTW 1.0 installed and MTW 1.1 - I bought it today so tried all versions, VI came as 2.01

WinXP SP1
DX 9.0a
catalyst 4.6

P4 2,4GHz
1 GB DDR400
ATi radeon 9700 128MB
SB Live 5.1

I think i know your problem:
Viking invasion is probably not installed in the mtw file. Uninstall MTW and VI, then install MTW, write down were it is downloaded to. Then install Vi and install it to the same place. It should work now.

The only thing i can think of doing is downloading a past version of catalyst. Go to www.ati.com
